PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus capable of extremely lowering the probability of abnormal image generation even in the case of adopting a photoreceptor capable of keeping surface energy low even after repeated use and having high durability. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic apparatus, an electrophotographic photoreceptor contains, in the top surface layer, a graft copolymer having a core/shell structure including a polyorganosiloxane component, and an electrifying device is disposed in the vicinity of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
