PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera by which a photograph free from failure is taken by informing of an imprinting condition or imprinting data set in the camera in voice just before exposure. SOLUTION: In the camera, taking an undesired photograph is restrained by making a photographer recognize that date information is wrong or is not reset before photographing by informing the photographer of the date information in voice by a read circuit 13 just before the exposure by making use of data information such as the date information used in a date imprinting circuit 11.
