PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device with strong strength without forming any flaw, and to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal device for manufacturing the liquid crystal device and electronic equipment using the liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device 101, a first substrate 141 having a first surface 141a and a second surface 141b and a second substrate 142 having a first surface 142a and a second surface 142b are arranged with a prescribed gap so that the first surface 141a of the first substrate 141 is opposed to the first surface 142a of the second substrate 142. Protection films 15 are arranged on the whole of the second surface 141b and 142b. The first substrate 141 and the second substrate 142 are stuck to each other by an open curved seal material 12 having a liquid crystal filling port 10, which are areas surrounded by the seal material 12 and a liquid crystal 144 is sealed between the first substrate 141 and the second substrate 142.
