PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which has insertion loss smaller than that of a conventional device. SOLUTION: An optical switch 100 is provided with a fiber collimator 120 for making light incident from outside, a fiber collimator 140 for emitting the light which is made incident to the fiber collimator 120 to outside, an optical path switching element 150 and a slider 160 which are arranged in the optical path between the fiber collimator 120 and the fiber collimator 140 and vary light, a solenoid actuator 170 which moves the slider 160, a guide mechanism 180 which guides the movement of the slider 160 driven by the solenoid actuator 170, and a magnet 190 which generates a magnetic field. The magnet 190 is arranged at a position so that the magnetic force of the generated magnetic field presses the slider 160 into contact with the guide mechanism 180. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
