PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize and provide an absolute angle position detector with a small size having a high sensitivity and accuracy in a wide angle range. SOLUTION: By utilizing their properties such as hardly passing an AC magnetic flux and further mutually opposed property in the magnetic resistance of the AC magnetic flux, a magnetic body and a conductor are applied to the inside and outside of a boundary having a diameter gradually decreasing in a circumferential direction of a rotating plate. Coils are provided so as to face each other on both sides of the rotating plate. Inductance is changed differentially according to an angle position of the rotating plate. A detecting circuit for outputting an inductance difference as a pulse train having a different duty ratio is used to be able to realize the angle position detector free from adjustment and having a high accuracy.
