PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous gel molded product for decoration, produced by using a gelatinizing agent for an aqueous liquid and having a good design, and to provide an article using the molded product. SOLUTION: The aqueous gel molded product for decoration is obtained by gelatinizing an aqueous liquid containing a gelatinizing agent for the aqueous liquid which is a reaction product or the like of (A) an ammonia-reacted product of a copolymer of an ethylenic unsaturated compound and maleic anhydride, with (B) a gelatin, in a dividable mold for forming a shape, and taking out the molded product to form the molded product into a specific shape which is a miniature of a geometric shape, character goods, animals, plants, geographical features, buildings, transportation equipment or the like.
