PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid correcting tool which is hardly broken even when formed into a lead having a thin diameter, is capable of hiding a writing at a few number of times of repeating application and is of good overwritability. SOLUTION: The solid correcting tool contains at least a hiding material, a body material, a binder, a sticky material and an oily substance, with the body material used being at least a lamellar substance such talc, sericite, mica, calcium carbonate, boron nitride, alumina, barium sulfate, lauroyl-β-alanine or Nε-lauroyl lysine as is covered with particles of titanium oxide, silicon oxide, silicon nitride, methyl methacrylate beads, nylon beads, polyethylene beads or polystyrene beads.
