摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for vapor-phase catalytic oxidation with which dispersion of a reaction state in each reaction tube of a fixed bed shell and a tube heat exchange reactor is eliminated. SOLUTION: The method for vapor-phase catalytic oxidation comprises feeding a reaction raw material gas into the interior of the reaction tubes filled with a catalyst by using the fixed bed shell and tube heat exchange reactor having the plurality of reaction tubes and thereby providing a reaction product gas. In the method, the reaction tubes having a lower pressure loss than the average value of the reaction tube pressure loss are filled with an inert substance in a raw material gas inlet part of the reaction tubes or the filled catalyst is taken out and refilled so that the pressure loss of each reaction tube after filling the catalyst is±20% of the average value of reaction tube pressure loss. Furthermore, the filled catalyst is taken out and refilled in the reaction tubes having a higher pressure loss than the average value of the reaction tube pressure loss.
