<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution that can further uniformize an ultrasonic generating level in the circumferential direction of an ultrasonic generating means in an input indicator having the ultrasonic generating means formed of a cylindrical piezoelectric film regarding the input indicator for an aerial ultrasonic type coordinate input device. <P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical ultrasonic generating means 2 is constituted by linearly jointing both lateral end short sides 21, 22 of an elongate piezoelectric film 20 of parallelogrammic shape. A linear joint part 20a of the piezoelectric film 20 extends along an inclined direction to an axial direction from one axial end to the other end of the ultrasonic generating means 2, and extends over a partial circular arc range C on the circumference of the ultrasonic generating means 2. The influence of the fall of an ultrasonic generating level caused by the joint part 20a is thereby relieved being dispersed in the range C in the circumferential direction, and the ultrasonic generating level can be further uniformized in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
