PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generating device which effectively utilizes a water resource by circulating water, and reduces an operating cost required for generation of electric energy. SOLUTION: In a hydraulic power generating device 1 provided with: a water turbine 10 rotated by receiving water; and a generator 20 connected to the water turbine 10, a water circulating part 40 equipped with a water tank to collect water dropped from the water turbine 10; a pump 41 to forcibly send water in the water tank; and a water leading tube 41 to lead water forcibly sent from the pump 41 to the water turbine 10; and a power transmitting mechanism to transmit rotation of a rotation extracting part 50 provided in a rotation transmitting passage 30 from the water turbine 10 to the generator 20 to the pump 41 are provided.
