PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment joint that can be joined reliably and easily and has durability. SOLUTION: After positioned so that a tip section 3a of a female type member 3 is brought into contact with a tip section 5a of a male type member 5, and then the tip section 5a of the male type member 5 is inserted into a cavity section 4 of the female type member 3. The diameter of the tip 3a of the female type member 3 where the tip section 5a of the female type member 5 is involved in the cavity section 4 is increased, and the outer peripheral surface comes into contact with a side 2a of a cutout section 2 in terms of sides. In this state, further the female type member 3 is pressed against the side 2a, the diameter of the tip section 3a of the female type member 3 is reduced, and the tip section 5 of the male type member 5 is pushed up by an end face 3c of the tip section 3a. As a result, the tip section 5a of the male type member 5 is accommodated in the cavity section 4 of the female type member 3, a joint 6 of a segment 1 is formed, and at the same time on junction surface 1a is joined to the other junction surface 1b.
