PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thermal treatment operations for integral-type thrust bearing. SOLUTION: A holder 2 and an inner and an outer rings 3 and 4 are integrally assembled into a bearing integrated with a roll 1 in the non-quenching condition, and thereafter, carburizing and quenching, and tempering are performed to the assembled bearing to eliminate separate thermal processing to the holder 2 and the inner and the outer rings 3 and 4.
