PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet type pump that safely and easily detects or eliminates an anomaly in the pump. SOLUTION: The magnet type volute centrifugal pump 1 comprises a pump body 100 having a driving rotor 16 with driving magnets 14 and a driven rotor 17 with driven magnets 13, and an electric motor 101 having a shaft 3 with a tip end connected to the driving rotor 16, a cooling fan 4 connected to a rear end of the shaft 3, and a fan cover 5 enclosing the cooling fan 4, in order to rotate the driving rotor 16. The rear end of the shaft 3 has a hexagon socket (handle engaging portion) of a hexagon socket head cap screw 6 capable of engaging with a hexagon bar wrench 2 (handle) with which the shaft 3 is rotated manually, and the fan cover 5 has an insertion opening 7 into which the hexagon bar wrench 2 is inserted.
