PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling member hard to generate abrasion and fretting due to a contact of metal surfaces with each other even in the boundary lubrica tion condition and having excellent burning resistance in the boundary lubrica tion condition. SOLUTION: This rolling member is provided with a lubrication layer L having lubricating property in a surface thereof, and the lubrication layer L is provided with a diamond-like carbon layer C and a fluorine compound layer F, and the fluorine compound layer F is arranged in the most outside surface. The diamond-like carbon layer C is formed of a metal layer formed from one or more of metals selected among Cr, W, Ti, Si, Ni and Fe, a compound layer formed from the described metal and carbon, and a carbon layer formed from carbon.
