PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device for a recording device using roll paper capable of performing printing smoothly even in the case the printing is made continuously for a long time or in case different sorts of roll papers are changed over any as required without requiring any complicated procedure. SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device 1 is equipped with a roll paper storing mechanism composed of an endless belt 3 whereon a plurality of roll papers R... of the same sort or different sorts and swing arms 41, 41 to transport each roll paper R in the levitated condition. The roll paper storing mechanism can circulate the roll papers R... stored on the endless belt 3 one after another via a sheet feeding part 5 in the specified sequence and change over the roll paper R to another transported in circulation to the sheet feeding part 5.
