INTERMEDIATE JACK HANDLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the attaching work of an internal jack to the inner peripheral wall of an intermediate pipe interposed in between jacking pipes under propulsion and its detaching work with a high workability by a simple device. SOLUTION: A handling device of an internal jack is constituted of an extensible boom 23, a jack grip 32 fitted to the front end, a pivotal support 35 for the extensive boom 23, and a vibrating device 37 of the extensible boom 23. The pivotal support 35 is fixed to a lower position of the internal wall of the intermediate pipe 1. The rear end of the extensible boom 23 is swingably connected to the pivotal support 35 by a hinge pin 34. The intermediate jack 18 held by the jack grip 32 is uplifted to a specified position of the inside wall of the intermediate pipe by the extension/contraction of the extensible boom 23 and drive of the vibration device 37.
