PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element module which is made inexpensive by decreasing the number of components and facilitating operations and also is capable of obtaining the maximum optical coupling. SOLUTION: The optical element module is characterized in that an optical element and an optical fiber aligned with the optical axis of the optical element are fixed on the same stem and the optical fiber is fixed directly to a holding member made of thin-plate metal capable of plastic deformation.
