PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-incorporated connector which suppresses optical connection loss by bringing a light guide member with a lens into contact with an optical fiber end surface when the optical connection is made with the light guide member interposed between optical fibers or an optical fiber and a light emission and reception unit. SOLUTION: Although an optical communication system for a vehicle such as an automobile possibly has trouble such as loss of optical connection efficiency due to reflection by the optical fiber end surface since optical end surfaces are not brought into contact with each other, but have a gap between them so as to protect the connection part of an optical fiber against flawing due to body vibration or a shock, optical fiber end surfaces 1a and 2a are brought into contact with main body end surfaces 11a and 11b from both the sides of the light guide member 10 to leave no gap between the optical fiber end surfaces 1a and 2a, and consequently fiber end surface reflection is avoided to increase coupling efficiency of light by a light guide lens 12, thereby suppressing the optical connection loss.
