PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a large display, which smoothly processes connection end faces of a display panel without deteriorating display elements and can obtain a satisfactory display screen in adhering a plurality of display panels to one another. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a large display comprises: a first pasting step for pasting protective glass 21 over the element formation surface side of a display panel 2a through first wax 22; a second pasting step for pasting auxiliary glass 23 over the protective glass 21 through second wax 24; a first cutting step for cutting a panel 30 for rough processing at a rough processing position 31; a first removing step for softening the second wax 24 to remove the auxiliary glass 23; a second cutting step for cutting a panel 30a for finishing at a finishing position 32; and a second removing step for softening the first wax 22 to remove the protective glass 21, and pastes a plurality of display panels 2a to 2d with a connection end face formed thereon together to manufacture the large display 1.
