Packaging container and method for manufacturing the same

A packaging container which can be readily recycled after use and is high in thermal insulation. The food in the container can be heated by induction heating. The packaging container comprises a sleeve (12) folded inwardly at upper and lower ends thereof, a film (16) covering the sleeve (12), a inner container (11) molded in the sleeve (12), and a cover for closing the inner container (11) tightly. The film (16) and the inner container (11) are integrally fused to each other at the folded portions of the upper and lower ends of the sleeve (12). Since there is no need of providing a heat-activated adhesive and the like between the sleeve (12) and the inner container (11), and coating the inner surface of the sleeve (12) with a heat-activated adhesive and the like, the sleeve (12) is made easy to keep and handle.
