PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake control device which can release a brake-operated state by further properly determining that a collision with an obstacle is avoided, or that a brake operation is caused by the erroneous detection of the obstacle while continuing the brake operation for avoiding the collision with the obstacle on the basis of a collision slack time with respect to the obstacle which is detected by obstacle detection means when the obstacle is not detected after the brake operation.SOLUTION: A vehicle brake control device comprises a brake control part which automatically generates a brake force of a vehicle when a collision time (TTC) is not longer than a prescribed threshold, and releases a state that the brake force is generated when an estimation distance is set at a value smaller than zero when the obstacle is not detected in a state that the brake force is generated. The prescribed threshold is set so as to be decreased as the detection accuracy of the obstacle which is sorted according to the detection accuracy of a distance and a relative speed by an obstacle detection part is deteriorated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
