The delivery table (1) has circulating pick-up pieces (9.1) which transfer the processed sheets (3) in the conveyor's direct to a brake (11). The side edges of the sheets have guides (24,24',24) which guide the sheets to the brake during transfer. The guides support the side edges of the sheets by means of guide surfaces against which press the sheets' side edges.
