FIELD: building materials, particularly, waterproofing coatings applicable in waterproofing screens of areas of waste burial and also as waterproofing cover of vessels of construction application, slime sumps, pits, etc. SUBSTANCE: waterproofing coating includes wastes of polyethylene and binding agent in form of oil residue containing asphalt-paraffin-resinous deposits, with the following amounts of components, wt.%: asphalt-paraffin- resinous deposits 40-50; polyethylene wastes 50-60. EFFECT: simplified composition, higher strength, reduced water absorption and filtering factor, increased resistance to aggressive media. 3 tbl
