<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make image quality improvable. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device is provided with a density detecting part for detecting toner density on a prescribed body to be detected when a toner image is transferred to the body without interposing a recording medium, and a voltage setting means for changing a voltage to be impressed on at least one of an electrifying device and a developing device 17 based on the detected toner density. Since the toner density on the prescribed body to be detected when the toner is stuck on the prescribed body to be detected is detected without interposing the recording medium and the voltage to be impressed on at least one of the electrifying device and the developing device is changed based on the detected toner density, such failures are prevented that the electrified quantity of the toner 24 is decreased/increased under an environment at high/low temperature and high/low humidity, then, the printing density can be stabilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
