<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for a car in which parts can be used in common and a manufacturing cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A space adjusting mechanism 15 changing a space between a bearing section 13 and a communicating section 14 is installed to the door handle device 1 for the car composed of a base member 10 fixed on the rear side of a door panel, an approximately arched grip member 20, which is disposed to the base member 10 from the surface side of the door panel, in which one-end side front end section 20a is borne to the bearing section 13 mounted on the base member 10 and the other end side 20b is connected to a locking mechanism for a door through the communicating section 14 secured to the base member 10 and which conducts the open-close operation of the door, and an escutcheon 30 fixed onto the base member 10 in the vicinity of the other end side 20b of the grip member 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
