<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative-type original plate for planographic printing which realizes direct recording from digital data with an infrared laser and which has excellent curability of an image area and excellent printing resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate for planographic printing is obtained by disposing on a support a photosensitive layer comprising (A) an IR absorbent represented by formula (I), (B) a compound which generates a radical or an acid under heat and (C) a radical-polymerizable or acid-crosslinkable compound and realizing recording upon irradiation with IR. In the formula, A<SP>1</SP>is an atomic group capable of forming a cyclic structure; A<SP>2</SP>is divalent group such as -CR<SP>3</SP>R<SP>4</SP>, -NR<SP>5</SP>-, -CH=CH-, O or S; L is polymethine. Symbols R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>represent each alkyl, aralkyl or the like, Z<SP>1</SP>and Z<SP>2</SP>represent each an atomic group capable of forming a condensed aromatic ring, and X<SP>-</SP>is a counter ion which neutralizes an electric charge if necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
