PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electroconductive crosslinked polyethylene foam having rubber elasticity and excellent electric conductivity, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the electroconductive crosslinked polyethylene foam comprises thermally foaming a foamable crosslinkable composition prepared by kneading under agitation 90-60 pts.wt. resin being an ethylene/3-18Cα-olefin copolymer and having a density of 0.86-0.90 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and 10-40 pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer being a copolymer having a density of 0.920-0.945 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, a melt flow rate of 0.5-4.0 g/10 min, and a vinyl acetate content of 10-40 wt.% with 8-30 pts.wt. conductive carbon, a blowing agent, a blowing aid, and a crosslinking agent.
