<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device with a shake correcting function capable of recording sound at the time of photographing without increasing costs and without practically damaging the accuracy of the shake correction by changing a correcting operation corresponding to the direction of a shake. <P>SOLUTION: A shake detection means 17x and 17y detect the shake in two directions orthogonal to each other and the optical axis 11C of a photographing optical system 11 and respectively output detection signals corresponding to the size of the shake in two directions and shake correction means 19x and 19y independently displace an image forming position on a light receiving plane in two directions. A microcomputer 15 constituting a drive control means fetches detection signals and controls the drive of the shake correction means so as to correct an image shake due to the shake by displacing the image forming position on the light receiving plane in two directions on the basis of the fetched detection signals. Also, the drive control means makes the cycles of displacing the image forming position on the light receiving plane in two directions by the shake correction means be different from each other at the time of recording the sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
