PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of an elevator as compared with conventional elevators and inexpensively prevent a drive member from slipping out of a guide member. SOLUTION: A motor 2 is fixed to a vehicle door 21. An X-shaped arm 7 provided with a main arm 5 and a sub arm 6 is driven by the power of the motor 2. The X-shaped arm 7 is rotatably supported by a fixing guide 8 fitted to the vehicle door 21 at one end and the other end rises and falls. Sliding members 12, 13 are attached to the other side of the X-shaped arm 7 and slide on the guide face 9a formed in the main guide 9. In this case, a fixing guide 8 is fixed to the vehicle door 21 by a nut 18 in the side of the guide face 8a of the fixing guide 8. The nut 18 regulates a sliding range of the sliding members 11 and has a function preventing the sliding member 11 from coming off the guide face 8a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
