PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof member having superior workability at a construction site and superior water proof and durability after the construction, and reducing electrical effects on the human body and to provide its construction method. SOLUTION: This waterproof member waterproofing an object is a soft resin member prefabricated at a plant and mechanically cut into a prescribed dimension in the construction site, and the resin member is a hardened body of liquid resin capable of forming a hardening type construction soft coating film. The waterproof member is formed by mixing a conductive material and tourmaline powder. This construction method for the waterproofing member is provided with a process of laying the waterproof member on a waterproof surface of the object and a process of mechanically cutting the end shape of the waterproof member according to the end shape of the waterproof surface.
