PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system for a water closet stool, by which the discharging performance of suspended dirt in flushing water stored in a bowl section is improved and which has a drain socket having high general-purpose properties. SOLUTION: In the drain socket for the water closet stool with a drain socket body with an inserting pipe having an inflow port connected to a discharge opening for a stool body and an outlet communicating with a drain pipe connected to a sewer, a flow-path sectional area at the lower end of the inserting pipe is made smaller than that of the outlet for the stool body, and the inserting pipe is longer than a diameter at a place having the largest flow- path sectional area.
