PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyethylene resin composition which exerts an excellent moldability, mechanical properties and adhesion and is suitably used for a polyethylene layer in an aluminum composite pipe. SOLUTION: This polyethylene resin composition for an aluminum composite pipe comprises 100 pts.wt. ethylene resin (A) and 10-50 pts.wt. ethylene resin (B) and has a melt index (ASTM D-1238) of 0.4-1.5 g/10 min and a density of 925-940 kg/m<SP>3</SP>. Here, the ethylene resin (A) is an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer which is polymerized with a metallocene catalyst and has a melt index (ASTM D-1238) of 0.1-0.8 g/10 min, a density of 915-935 kg/m<SP>3</SP>and a molecular weight distribution of 3.0-5.0. The ethylene resin (B) is an ethylene polymer having a melt index (ASTM D-1238) of 10-50 g/10 min and a density of≥950 kg/m<SP>3</SP>. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
