PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically movable suspension device having a friction preventive roller member for preventing friction generated between a torsion coil spring and the other member in a suspension device using the torsion coil spring as an elastic force applying means for reducing the size while lowering the height of a mechanism part of the suspension device. SOLUTION: This vertically movable suspending device has the friction preventive roller member 14, and is a vertically movable suspension device having a support part 11a arranged between a vehicular seat and a car body, and movably supporting the vehicular seat in the vertical direction by tilting and rising around a rotational fulcrum, a shaft 12a extendedly arranged along at least one of a front edge part or a rear edge part of the vehicular seat from the support part 11a, and the torsion coil spring 13 engaged with the shaft 12a, and wound in the rotational direction of the support part 11a toward a support part 11a side end part from a coil part. The friction preventive roller member 14 is rotatably arranged between the support part 11a side end part of the torsion coil spring 13 and the coil part adjacent to this end part.
