PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to effectively maintain the temperature of a light source in simple and compact constitution. SOLUTION: An illuminator 60 is provided with a casing 62 disposed inside a device main body 12. Inside the casing 62, a light-transmissive heat insulating member 64 is disposed and two or more lines of light sources 66 for erasure are buried by the heat insulating member 64. The heat insulating member 64 is provided with five hole parts for housing the light sources 66 for the erasure and an ultraviolet ray cut filter 74 is attached to the front surface of the heat insulating member 64.
