PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying method of a large-sized concrete member capable of conducting filling work of cement mortar for stable support soon after laying, without expanding the width of an excavated groove for laying. SOLUTION: A carriage 4 for carrying is arranged on rails 3 provided on concrete road beds 2. The large-sized concrete member 1 is loaded onto the carriage 4 for carrying in a state that a clearance 5 is remained between the large-sized concrete member 1 and the concrete road beds 2, The carriage 4 is moved to a laying position, and a mat-shaped air jack 6 is inserted into the clearance 5 in a flat state. The mat-shaped air jack 6 is filled up with compressed air so as to move up the large-sized concrete member 1 from the carriage 4, and the carriage 4 for carrying is pulled down from a space under the large-sized concrete member 1 which is maintained in its moved up position. Compressed air are exhausted from the mat-shaped air jacks 6 to lower down the large-sized concrete member 1 onto the rails 3, and the clearance 5 is filled up with the cement mortar 7.
