PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Sn surface treated steel sheet which does not contain Pb at all, has satisfactory wettability with Pb-free solder as well, and further has excellent corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: On at least one side of the surface of a steel sheet, an electric Ni-Zn alloy layer with a coating weight of 1.0 to 10.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>containing 5.0 to 50.0 mass% Zn, an Sn-Fe-Ni alloy layer containing Sn, Ni and Fe, and an Sn layer with a coating weight of 5.0 to 10.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>are formed in order from the steel sheet side. Further, a phosphate film with a coating weight of 0.5 to 50.0 mg/m<SP>2</SP>containing P and Sn is formed on the surface of the Sn layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
