PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite material giving extremely high dimensional accuracy while keeping high tenacity, high elasticity, dimensional stability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and the like. SOLUTION: This composite material contains a liquid crystal polymer and amorphous silica particles. The amorphous silica particles have a double peak particle distribution of coarse particles and fine particles wherein a ratio (df/dc) of the average particle diameter (dc) of the coarse particles to the average particle diameter of the fine particles (df) is 0.02 to 0.2 and the amorphous silica contains 5 to 40 mass % of the fine particles.
