PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recycled-rubber-containing rubber composition which suffers less from deterioration in properties such as bursting resistance, abrasion resistance, and heat buildup resistance even when it contains a relatively large amount of a reclaimed rubber and therefore permits an improvement in the recycling of rubber articles such as used tires. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains 100 pts.wt. (A) rubber component containing at least 20 wt.% oil-extended rubber containing (i) a conjugated diene copolymer rubber having (a) ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units, (b) aromatic vinyl monomer units, and (c) conjugated diene monomer units and containing 5-45 wt.% units (a) based on the total amount of units (a), (b), and (c) and (ii) an extender oil in a ratio of 100:0 to 100:80 by weight, 20-100 pts.wt.
