PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular herbicidal and fungicidal composition suitable for stably carrying out a herbicidal or fungicidal treatment over a long period and slightly eluviating into water without leaving a covering material in the environment. SOLUTION: The granular herbicidal and fungicidal composition is produced by coating a granule with a suitable film material. A wax having 40-100°C melting point, an alkoxysilicate derivative represented by general formula Si<SB>n</SB>O<SB>n-1</SB>(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>2n+1</SB>R<SP>2</SP>[wherein, R<SP>1</SP>denotes methyl group or ethyl group; R<SP>2</SP>denotes a≤18C alkyl group or a polyethylene oxide having≤2,000 molecular weight; and n denotes an integer of 2-20], etc., are cited as a raw material for the film material.
