PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which improves image quality of scanography images.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source 100, a photon counting type detector 140 and a processing part 145. The X-ray source 100 generates X-rays. A plurality of photon counting type detectors 140 are mounted on a ring member 180 and detect photons of the X-rays. The processing part 145 moves at least one of the plurality of photon counting type detectors 145 to a second position from a first position when receiving instruction to image a scenography image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
