1. A method for identifying content in an incoming message on a social network, comprising:
categorizing a sender-recipient relationship between a sender and a recipient of the incoming message in an activity stream in a display; categorizing a content of said incoming message; determining a degree of sender attitude about the incoming message; determining an impact of the incoming message on the recipient based on a combination of the sender-recipient relationship, content of the incoming message and degree of sender attitude about the incoming message; and generating a recommendation for the recipient based on said incoming message and determined impact of the incoming message on the recipient wherein said recommendation is a recommendation as to how to the recipient can compete with the sender. |
