<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide animal feed comprising a granulated substance made of kale dry powder. <P>SOLUTION: The animal feed is obtained by adding water or both of water and ethanol to kale dry powder, kneading the mixture, subjecting the kneaded mixture to extrusion molding, and drying the molded mixture. The feed has a moderate size so as to be excellent in handling. Also, the feed is effective on reducing the body odor and fecal odor of animals because the kale dry powder contains a large amount of dietary fibers and chlorophyll. This effect is enhanced by adding materials such as dietary fibers having the function of regulating the intestines to the mixture before granulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
