<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To destaticize charges of a worker and a material to be soldered without using any special destaticizer. <P>SOLUTION: Gas mixture of liquefied gas such as butane and air is fed into a combustion cylinder 22 from a nozzle member 21, and subjected to flame- less combustion by using a combustion catalyst 31. The combustion exhaust gas is discharged to the tip side along an outer circumferential part of a soldering iron tip 4. The material to be soldered is preliminarily heated by the combustion exhaust gas. The soldering iron tip 4 is electrically connected to the worker via a gas duct 5, a support pipe 3 and a conductive strap 41. Since a large number of ions are produced around the combustion catalyst 31, the worker can be destaticized thereby. In addition, the combustion exhaust gas contains a large volume of hot steam, and the material is destaticized by the steam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
