<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a golf club head with high yield in which a sintered density is high, a mechanical strength is improved, appearance is satisfactory and the center of gravity is low while simplifying a manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: A combined object 4 obtained by fitting an inner core (first member) 1 into a recess 2a for housing of a packaging member 2 is located within a prescribed metal die 5 in which a cavity 6 is formed in advance by gouging the outer form of the golf club head out. Then, a mold composition 10 with the lower specific gravity than that of a gate 9 is injected into the cavity 6, a solid green body G composed of the inner core 1 and a second member 15 such as a hosel portion 20 except for packaging and a face portion 22 is molded and the golf club head is obtained by sintering the solid green body after dehydration. In such a method, the temperature of the metal die 5 is set from 40°C to 55°C, the composition 10 for molding is injected for 5-15 sec to fill the inside of the cavity 6 and next, the temperature of the metal die 5 is gradually cooled down to 15-30°C.
