PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous body by which the porous body with a plurality of fine holes mutually in parallel can be highly accurately manufactured and in particular, the heavy plate-like porous body in which a large number of fine holes are highly densely arranged can be highly accurately manufactured, too. SOLUTION: After a specified time where difference in pressure distribution of a molding material R filled in a cavity C and under a molten state is relaxed is waited and the specified time passes through, apex parts of a group 10 of molding pins are pushed into the molding material while a pressure is applied on the molding material R under a plasticized condition in the cavity C by a core 4. In this instance, the core 4 is moved in the direction separated from a fixed mold 2 through the molding material under the plasticized condition in the cavity in accordance with amount of pushing-in of the group 10 of the molding pins. Then, the molding material R is solidified while a condition where the pressure is applied onto the molding material in the cavity C by the core 4 is held. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
