LIQUID MEDICINE INJECTION CATHETER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid medicine injection catheter capable of positively piercing a needle part into a nidus to be treated while a catheter body is being rigidly held at a desired position in a blood vessel without excessively expanding the blood vessel.

SOLUTION: A needle-like pipe 12 having its extremity end formed as a needle part 34 which can be pierced into a nidus 54 is inserted into a catheter body 10 composed of a long pipe in such a way that it can be moved relatively in a longitudinal direction. A balloon 24 expanded only toward one of the directions to its side part is attached in such a way that it can be expanded/ shrunk. A side hole 30 is arranged at a more forward side in an inserting direction of the catheter body 10 into the blood vessel 50 than the fixing location of the balloon 24 and at the same location at that of the expanding direction of the balloon 24. The needle part 34 of the needle pipe 12 inserted into the catheter body 10 can be protruded in an expanding direction of the balloon 24 through the side hole 30.
