PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact cutting device having a wide cutting range with small motion, excellent cutting efficiency, small cutting resistance, causing little structural damaged in, cutting part, and capable of half-cutting to leave a part of a work to be cut or the notching into a surface of the work without cutting off the work such as food and raw wood by controlling the cutting. SOLUTION: This cutting device comprises a pair of rotary members 1 and 1' disposed on the same plane with a predetermined interval and rotated in the same direction, and a slender rectangular connection blade 3 supported by one of the rotary members and supported or freely attached to the other rotary member, and rotated on a substantially same plane as the plane on which the pair of rotary members are rotated as the pair of rotary members are rotated.
