摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce occurrence of fine splitting on the outside A of a bent part of a door beam material made of aluminum alloy extruded material, when a lengthwise part of the door beam material is crushed by a press in a direction perpendicular to a flange surface (in parallel with the vertical direction of the door beam material) and both webs are buckled outward. SOLUTION: This door beam material comprises a pair of flanges 1, 2 and a pair of webs 3, 4 connecting them, and projections 5, 6 and projections 7, 8 are respectively formed on both sides of a substantial mid-point of the inner side of the web 3 and on both sides of a substantial mid-point of the inner side of the web 4, as viewed in a cross section perpendicular to the extruded direction. When the door beam material is crushed in the direction perpendicular to the flange surface, the projections 5 to 8 are pinched between the buckled webs 3, 4, thus reducing the shrinking of the radius of curvature of the outside A of the web compared with the shrinking without the projections since the projections act as resisting members.
