PLATY RECYCLED MOLDED MATERIAL USING WASTE PAPER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a platy recycled molded material capable of being substituted for a well-known card board and interior material by using waste paper and starch as raw materials and compressing and heating them without using water, adhesives and other binders. SOLUTION: Cotton-like material to be obtained by dry fibrillation treatment of the waste paper and starch powder in an absolute dry state are mixed and cast into a mold. It is compacted and integrated by pressurizing to a specific draft and shaped in a plate shape by holding for a specific time in a heating atmosphere. Herein a content of starch powder is 1 to 10 wt.%, a pressurizing weight is 3 to 10 ton, a heating temperature is 100 to 150°C and a thickness of a molded plate is 1 to 30 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
