PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stimulus or unpleasant touch to the skin in sleeping, which is caused by a sewn projecting part formed at the edge of the quilt. SOLUTION: In this quilt 10, the peripheral edge parts of a surface side cloth piece 1 and a back cloth piece 2 are sewn up to form a bag-like wrapping 3, the interior of the wrapping 3 is filled with heat insulating material. The length of the back cloth piece 2 in the longitudinal direction of the quilt 10 is larger than that of the surface cloth piece 1, and a raised surface 4 formed of the back cloth piece 2 is formed at one or both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the quilt 10.
